Job summary

SciTec Incorporated in Boulder, CO seeks a senior C++ software developer to deliver end-to-end processing of OPIR sensor data. You’ll work on a fast-paced team integrating advanced exploitation algorithms into government frameworks.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, optimization, and collaboration with scientists, engineers, and developers. You will design and maintain high-performance C++ code on Linux, lead small teams, and engage with customers to ensure quality across the Software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, physical science, mathematics, or engineering.
• 5+ years of professional C++ software development experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain C++ software components for remote sensor data processing.
• Develop and optimize high-throughput algorithms for image analysis, detection, and tracking.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of software systems.
• Mentor team members and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Lead a small team in an Agile environment and manage requirements.
