You will be onsite at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, CO, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical services while troubleshooting and reporting defects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance.
• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and high-quality code.
• Onsite work at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, CO.
• Effective communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of mission-critical services.
• Monitor health of software infrastructure with metrics, logs, and alerts; respond to incidents.
• Perform root-cause analysis for outages and participate in post-incident reviews.
• Improve reliability through automation, standardization, and proactive engineering.
• Support software lifecycle activities including upgrades and configuration changes.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of existing software systems.
• Assist integration, testing, and debugging in Linux environments.
• Provide documentation, knowledge sharing, and training across the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
