Solidus is hiring a Senior C++ Software Engineer. In this role, you will be joining a team where our software engineers and architects are developing and maintaining advanced ground station software. Our complex domain requires creative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

This is an onsite role based in Aurora, CO.

Clearance Requirements:
• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation

Day in the Life:
• Develop software for advanced satellite ground systems.
• Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, unit test, delivery, and maintenance.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Experience implementing software using C++.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience implementing software using Java.
• Experience with object-oriented analysis and design
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems
• Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $120,000- $169,000. Customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies and certifications, clearance status, and benefit selections will influence the final salary.
