Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Software Engineer IV to oversee the development, modification and maintenance of applications. You will ensure systems run smoothly, monitor performance, and document findings.

You will collaborate with multiple teams in the Technology department to keep software and hardware integrations efficient. The role is contract to hire with locations in Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; or Charlotte, NC, and a focus on delivering robust C#, .Net, and API solutions with strong teamwork

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a related role.
• Collaborate with programmers, developers, and other technology professionals.
• Conduct system analysis to detect performance issues.
• Develop and implement technology solutions to resolve technical challenges.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of software testing techniques, code optimization, and debugging.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of software structures, hardware computing systems and integration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software.
• Provide advice and recommendations to management on processes and techniques.
