Matrix Design Group in Newburgh, IN is seeking a Senior Applications Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain advanced software using C#, WPF, and .NET 8.0. This on-site role collaborates with product managers and engineers to deliver high-performance, user-friendly applications.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and optimize systems for scalability and reliability in a fast-paced environment at our Newburgh home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience focusing on C#, WPF, and WinForms.
• Proficiency with .NET 8.0 and the .NET ecosystem.
• Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel programming.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
