Job summary

Tharu Technologies LLC is seeking a Lead C++ Developer for 100% onsite roles in Irving, TX or Atlanta, GA. The role requires ownership from design through testing and production support, with strong Windows C++11+ expertise and TCP/IP networking experience.

You will mentor peers, lead automated testing, and collaborate across teams in an Agile environment. Ideal candidates have 11+ years in software development, proficiency in C++, Python, and testing frameworks, and experience guiding complex

Qualifications

• 5+ years C++ development in Windows environment.
• Experience with TCP/IP and socket programming.
• 3+ years Python for automation/testing.
• BDD/Test Automation using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin.
• Unit testing with Google Test or cppUnit.
• Strong debugging and production support skills.
• Senior-level ownership from design to troubleshooting.
• Agile, Jira/Confluence experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new product features and modify existing features with technical documentation.
• Build and execute unit tests for application code.
• Collaborate with Customer Care to resolve software issues.
• Uphold high quality and secure handling of consumer data.
• Contribute to release management decisions and estimates.
• Investigate issues and drive timely resolutions.
• Mentor team members and participate in code/test reviews.
• Participate in Agile development and automated testing to verify criteria.
• Contribute to design, testing, and review processes.
• Provide input on effort estimation based on requirements.
• Write product specs, designs, and technical manuals.
• Evaluate third-party products and specs.
• Make design/development decisions using experience.
• Provide feedback in peer reviews.
• Educate others on technical areas.
• Report to Engineering Manager and support lifecycle.
