Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to build high-performance tracking systems for air and missile defense. You will design algorithms, implement real-time software, and optimize performance across large sensor data streams.

You will collaborate with radar engineers, validate with modeling tools, and contribute to end-to-end defense solutions while ensuring latency requirements are met.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a technical degree or equivalent.
• Strong programming in C++ and Python.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics or related math.
• Understanding of design patterns, testing, version control and debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats.
• Develop high-performance, real-time software to process radar data and tracks.
• Build modeling and simulation environments to validate performance.
• Collaborate with radar engineers to integrate tracking into defense systems.
• Optimize software for low-latency, latency-sensitive environments.
• Communicate concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests.
