Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Applied Physics or related STEM field
• 7+ years of software engineering experience with BS or 5+ years with MS
• US citizenship and DoD security clearance eligibility
• Willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities

• Modernize architecture and port legacy Windows-specific C++ code to cross-platform, modular C++20 components
• Containerize applications using Docker for modern deployment pipelines
• Design high-performance, multi-threaded C++20 applications for tracking, state estimation, and data fusion pipelines
• Architect, clean up, and manage CMake build configurations for multi-target builds
• Diagnose, trace, and debug complex codebases with minimal documentation
• Collaborate with leads to prototype next-generation distributed tracking capabilities
