Job summary

KLA RAPID Division is seeking a highly motivated software engineer to build cutting-edge C++ for mask inspection systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to create AI-enabled data analytics and machine control software, with emphasis on reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, optical, algorithm, and software engineers to solve complex system-level challenges, deploying in Kubernetes and leveraging Docker containers.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field.
• Strong C++ programming, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process environments; debugging & profiling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop inspection machine control software for advanced mask inspection systems.
• Integrate AI capabilities into production tool and evaluate model training/inference flows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system requirements.
• Optimize and maintain codebases for performance, scalability and reliability.
• Provide support during integration and testing, and handle escalations from customer sites.
