Job summary

KLA in Milpitas, CA is seeking a proactive Systems Design Engineer to join our RAPID division, focusing on escalations and continuous improvement in the mask inspection product line.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional collaborations with engineering, manufacturing, and service, drive projects on the critical path, and help advance reliability, usability, and customer-focused engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in engineering/physical sciences with relevant field experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering projects.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-priority escalations and drive continuous improvement in escalation processes.
• Lead engineering development projects for mask inspection products in RAPID division.
• Assess risks and drive projects forward with attention to critical paths.
• Communicate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and service to drive execution.
• Lead and influence team members to achieve engineering excellence and customer focus.
• Identify bottlenecks and remove obstacles to enable value-added work.
