Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities for raw materials, capital equipment, tooling, and related items in Liberty, SC. You will coordinate supplier selection, negotiate terms, and drive cost reductions while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in business or a related field with at least 5 years in manufacturing procurement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or related field.
5+ years in Manufacturing, Procurement and/or Related Field.
Experience with procurement systems and vendor management.
Occasional travel to visit suppliers.

Responsibilities

Coordinate procurement activities to attain optimum quality, delivery, price, and terms.
Negotiate terms with suppliers including freight costs and logistics.
Issue purchase orders and change notices as required.
Maintain supplier lead-times, classifications, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales to resolve issues.
Support cost reduction projects and supplier performance evaluations.
Travel occasionally to supplier facilities.
