The Senior Buyer is responsible for driving the evolution of the purchasing organization from a manual, email-driven environment to a standardized, automated, and data-driven procurement process.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role combines strategic sourcing expertise with strong process improvement and systems capabilities. The successful candidate will work closely with Purchasing, IT, Supply Chain, and suppliers to maximize the use of supplier portals, ERP workflows, automation tools, and digital technologies. The long-term objective is to enable buyers to manage by exception rather than through manual transactions, increasing efficiency, scalability, and supplier collaboration.
5+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Procurement. Experience leading procurement transformation or automation initiatives. Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred. Experience working closely with IT teams on system implementation projects. Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
The successful candidate will help transform the purchasing organization by: Increasing supplier portal adoption. Reducing manual email transactions. Increasing automated purchase order confirmations. Reducing buyer transactional workload. Improving supplier response times. Increasing purchasing productivity through exception-based management. Driving continuous system and process improvements in partnership with IT.

Pay Range: 86,400.00 - 129,600.00
