Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) seeks a Procurement Professional to manage purchasing, supplier negotiations, and budget governance in a dynamic US-based operation. You will optimize inventory, select products, and drive cost reductions while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of related experience, plus excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills. CPM preferred.

• Proven negotiation skills.
• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Controls all purchases to maintain optimized inventory levels.
• Sources, interviews and negotiates with suppliers on price, availability, and delivery.
• Evaluates options and selects products or services for purchase.
• Monitors departmental purchasing budget for compliance.
• Oversees follow-up of past-due orders and reports corrective actions.
• Maintains effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Drives cost reduction through continuous improvement of processes and supplier management.
