Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain or Operations Management.
• At least 5 years of purchasing/buying experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to engage with all levels of the organization and drive continuous improvement.
• Lean principles understanding.

Responsibilities

• Understand and interpret demand requirements to guide procurement decisions.
• Analyze risks to the supply chain and present mitigation options to management.
• Manage purchasing activities including issuing PO, expediting orders, and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Program Management.
• Interface with vendors and build relationships to support procurement.
• Track vendor performance on quality, delivery, price, and other data.
• Coordinate nonconformance issues with internal teams and suppliers.
• Drive procurement process improvements through data-driven decisions.
