Job summary

Target is seeking a Buyer for Lunchmeat & Snacks within Meat & Seafood to own the category strategy and financial performance. You will manage relationships with national brands and suppliers, collaborate with Pricing and Promotions, and guide assortment decisions to balance sales, traffic and margin objectives.

You will translate guest insights and market data into actionable plans, working with Planning, Inventory, and Site Merchandising teams to drive profitable growth in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Merchandising experience.
• Strong strategic, financial and analytical skills to grow a business.
• Strong vendor negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong collaboration skills to lead and partner across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to balance short-term financial performance with long-term category strategy.
• Growth mindset with ability to identify consumer trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities
