Job summary

Dormakaba USA, Inc. is seeking a Buyer II based in Chino, CA. The role involves ensuring timely acquisition of products and materials for manufacturing and assembly processes. The Buyer II will collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to source materials from domestic and overseas vendors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple departments: Production Control, Quality, Engineering, and Accounting.
• Place and expedite purchase orders to support production.
• Research and establish new suppliers.
• Prepare RFQ's, negotiate price and terms.
• Arrange deliveries from vendors, monitoring product arrivals and inventory levels.

Skills

5+ years buying experience in a mid-sized manufacturing environment

Experience purchasing materials, sheet metal components, fasteners and machined parts

Experience purchasing electronic components and PCBA's

Basic understanding of manufacturing drawings

Familiarity with inventory control procedures

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or related field

APICS Certification
