Job summary

4 Corner Resources is seeking a Senior Buyer to source fabrication and machining commodities for a growing North American operation. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to keep complex projects on cost, quality, and schedule.

Responsibilities include vendor selection, reviewing specs, evaluating manufacturability, managing RFQs, and achieving cost targets while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 1–5 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Manufacturing industry experience and SAP background are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and select qualified vendors; bring in new or alternative suppliers.
• Review technical data, designs, prints, and manufacturing and quality requirements to build purchasing specs with internal teams.
• Evaluate manufacturability and value of engineered components.
• Source welded fabrications and machined parts.
• Manage RFQs from early project stages through completion.
• Purchase and manage assigned commodities to hit quality and cost targets.
• Build supplier relationships to drive quality and cost savings over time.
