Flow Control Group is seeking a Senior Buyer to source materials and components for data-center projects across manufacturing and distribution. The role focuses on air compressors, pumps, valves, piping, and engineered-to-order solutions, coordinating with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Quality to secure on-time delivery at favorable costs.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in purchasing, strong ERP/MRP skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelors degree in a related field required.
• Minimum seven years of progressive purchasing/supply-chain experience.
• Experience with data-center equipment, engineered-to-order, or project-based manufacturing preferred.

Aufgaben

• Source and purchase air compressors, pumps, valves, piping components, fabricated skids, motors, controls, instrumentation for data-center applications.
• Manage purchasing for stocked distribution products and engineered-to-order projects.
• Review BOMs, drawings, specs, and production schedules to determine material requirements.
• Issue RFQs, analyze supplier proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, issue POs.
