Senior Buyer

As a Senior Buyer, you'll make a real impact by ensuring our plants have the goods and services they need to run at their best. You'll be at the heart of supplier relationships, cost-saving initiatives, and sourcing strategies that keep Gestamp competitive worldwide.

Day-to-day, you'll :

  • Manage RFQs, contracts, and supplier agreements
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery with suppliers
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support plant operations
  • Analyze supplier performance and drive cost savings
  • Research new suppliers and qualify them for production
  • Use tools like SAP, SAP Ariba, and Power BI to improve processes
  • Support purchasing controls and reporting across multiple locations

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field

4+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing or maintenance

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel a must)

Experience with SAP / SAP Ariba and Power BI preferred

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and great at building relationships

Global sourcing or MRO experience is a plus
