Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions in Texas, United States (On-site) seeks a Senior Buyer to lead the hardlines category strategy, including sales, margin, inventory, and assortment planning. You will build strategic vendor partnerships and negotiate for profitable growth while identifying market trends and bringing innovative products to market.

Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, eCommerce, Sourcing, and Supply Chain, and lead the executive training team while mentoring junior buyers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of buying or category management experience in hardlines within outdoor categories.
• Experience managing large, high-SKU product categories.
• Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills.
• Leadership experience with coaching and developing others.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel as business needs require.

What You’ll Do
