Job summary

Super Products LLC, based in Mukwonago, WI, is seeking a Senior Buyer to manage supplier relationships, purchasing activities, and material planning to support production. The role focuses on ensuring timely, cost-effective materials and driving cost-reduction initiatives.

Success requires strong negotiation, planning and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Production teams. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with a comprehensive benefits package and safety‑conscious work

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Technical or Operations discipline is required.
• 4 years experience in procurement, supply chain or related supply management.
• Experience with Lean Principles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain supplier relationships and communications with quality, capacity, pricing and delivery.
• Drive cost competitiveness through optimization and supplier opportunities.
• Communicate delivery expectations and manage lead times with suppliers to meet production schedules.
• Lead cost-reduction activities and initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering on ECO opportunities.

Super Products LLC is currently accepting applications for our Senior Buyer position at our Mukwonago facility.

The senior buyer manages supplier relationships, purchasing activities, material planning, and cost-reduction initiatives to ensure timely, cost-effective materials are available to support production.

Performance Objectives

• Maintain Critical Supply Relationships by regular communications with the supply base. Which should include Quality, Capacity, Pricing and Delivery requirements to meet Super Products needs.
• Meet Commercial Expectations by driving overall cost competitiveness throughout the supply base through optimization, negotiation, design/manufacturing opportunities and identifying new suppliers.
• Interact with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecasts, design changes, lead-time management and material expedites to ensure Supplier On-Time Delivery to Super Products production schedule.
• Drive cost reduction activities and cost avoidance opportunities.
• Work with Engineering to provide assistance on ECO opportunities.
• Maintain material master records for assigned materials.
• Review and maintain part consumption characteristics to ensure appropriate planning parameters are maintained.
• Ability to work on cross-function teams for various Kaizen events.
• Strong Team Player and Contributor with attention to detail and an orientation towards results/execution.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor level degree in Technical or Operations discipline.
• Four (4) years' experience of procurement, supply chain or related supply management.
• JDEdwards preferred.
• Experience and/or knowledge of Lean Principles
• Effective trouble shooting, problem solving and organizational skills. Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines and handle conflict resolution in an effective manner.
• Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work extended hours when required.
• Travel is minimal.
