Job summary

Storm Search is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead procurement activities within an assigned commodity segment. This role emphasizes strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, cost reduction, and ensuring on-time delivery.

Relocation assistance within the United States is available. You will manage purchasing, evaluate suppliers, analyze quotes, and drive improvements in delivery, quality, and cost while partnering with internal teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of procurement experience, preferably in aerospace/defense.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong ERP/MRP purchasing experience.
• Background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, negotiations and cost analysis.
• APICS/CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing of materials, services, and supplies supporting MRP.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Analyze quotes, negotiate pricing and terms to reduce costs.

• Drive improvements in supplier delivery, quality, inventory, and cost.

Qualifications
