Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement strategies
  
  
• Identify and onboard North American suppliers to replace foreign sources
  
  
• Source materials balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements
  
  
• Analyze market trends and recommend optimal suppliers
  
  
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts to secure favorable pricing and terms
  
  
• Review quotes and make supplier recommendations
  
  
• Manage end-to-end procurement process, ensuring compliance
  
  
• Negotiate and update contracts, driving annual cost savings
  
  
• Oversee supplier performance, issue resolution, and development
  
  
• Foster collaborative supplier relationships
  
  
• Support team members with escalations and negotiations
  
  
• Participate in annual commodity planning
  
  
• Collaborate with global sourcing teams (including international travel)
  
  
• Maintain a flexible, high-performing, and cost-effective supply base
  
  
• Mentor and guide junior buyers
