Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a senior buyer responsible for pricing, procuring product, maintaining quality and managing inventory levels across assigned commodities.

Key duties include daily need forecasting, ordering loads, resolving troubled shipments, and representing procurement in weekly meetings while coordinating with sales teams and operations staff.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years purchasing in like field and/or working within a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment.
• 2 years of produce-related purchasing of FOB items.
• High school degree or equivalent, college degree preferred.
