Role Description
The Senior Buyer is a full-time, on-site role based in Greenville, SC, responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities to support manufacturing and packaging operations. This position oversees sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of raw materials, packaging components, and indirect supplies while maintaining optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency. The Senior Buyer collaborates with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to ensure material availability, resolve supply issues, and support new product launches. Daily tasks include analyzing demand and usage data, managing supplier performance, processing purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. The role also involves maintaining accurate procurement records, supporting compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
