You will work toward advancing our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World by providing expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to shape the direction of one of our newest product offerings, TurboTax Live Business, while working at the #11 ranked company on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For.

If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns, as well as significant experience in preparing and filing these returns.

What you'll bring
  • Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws, evidenced by 3+ years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
  • Must possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year in a practice or retail setting, strongly preferred.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
  • Bookkeeping experience with tax preparation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Must possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Commit to at least 20 hours/week throughout the tax season.
  • Working knowledge of Circular 230.
  • Proficiency with technology, including computer operations and software.
  • Strong customer service skills—ability to interact professionally via video and audio tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection meeting Intuit's security criteria.
How you will lead
  • What You Will Do:

    • Assist customers in completing their taxes using TurboTax products, providing sound professional judgment, and delivering timely, accurate service. Offer tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries to help achieve our mission.
    • Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly.
    • Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers using everyday language.
    • This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will use our video communication software to interact responsibly and document interactions accurately.
    • Engage with customers and team members professionally, upholding Intuit’s operating values, including “integrity without compromise.”
