Position Summary

This position works closely with internal business partners (Marketing Territory Managers, Schedulers, Traders, Midstream, Corporate functions and IT) to develop and implement strategies to optimize corporate value. Along with the below referenced responsibilities, this individual will have the opportunity to participate in and lead both internal projects as well as cross-organizational projects. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with innovative analytical vision, to thrive in a dynamic environment and gain exposure to many facets of the corporation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads improvement recommendations, identifies, and leads initiatives to streamline operations and enhance productivity using established process improvement methodologies, and presents effectively to senior and executive management and global teams.
  • Presents and leads client meetings with the business and development teams. Communicates with senior leaders for understanding and execution of cross functional complex processes and applications to solve for client requirements.
  • Provides recommendations for appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems, assessing current business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and uncovering opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and performance.
  • Partners with business teams to develop ways to investigate business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning, leveraging data driven solutions, track progress, and ensure sustainable improvement.
  • Leads and serves as a senior resource on cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems to aid management in making implementation decisions.
  • Serves as a resource to colleagues, mentors and helps improve the team’s abilities around all IT Service Management (ITSM) disciplines deployed.
  • Leads the development, execution, and creation of the cross functional testing strategy communicating with all stakeholders for technology delivery.
  • Leads the planning, conducting and documenting of user stories, user feedback. Effectively communicates feedback with senior leaders for technology improvement.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or Business related field preferred, related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of relevant experience required. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, ITIL, PMP, SAFe, or comparable certification preferred. Experience analyzing operational data, business processes, and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities preferred. Experience facilitating discussions with stakeholders to evaluate business needs and develop practical solutions preferred. Experience supporting enterprise technology, process transformation, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred. Experience developing business cases, performance measures, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making preferred.
