Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to sustain and evolve critical systems that enable partners to manage our store portfolio. You will work across market planning, real estate, design, and construction, collaborating with Starbucks Technology to support development tools.

You will lead end‑user support, drive system enhancements, and partner with product and technology teams to map requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure solutions meet business

As a senior business systems analyst in Coffeehouse Development, you will contribute to the success of Starbucks by sustaining and evolving the systems and critical process that enable our partners to grow and manage our store portfolio. This role will support partners, processes and systems across market planning, real estate, design, and construction. You will collaborate closely with Starbucks technology to support and evolve our development systems and tools.

As a senior business systems analyst, you will:

• Lead business sustainment activities – plan and execute recurring operational work such as data validation and reconciliation, user access and role administration, audit support, scheduled system updates, and other controls required to keep supported products operating effectively.

• Deliver complex systems support - serving as the point of contact for business-critical systems, rapidly assessing issues, coordinating resolution across business and technology teams, communicating status, risk and next steps with clarity.

• Improve the support experience at scale – analyze tickets, direct partner inquiries and operational trends to identify root causes, reduce repeat issues, strengthen documentation and self-service resources, and recommend process, data or product improvements.

• Partner across product and technology teams – work with product managers, development leaders, Starbucks Technology and external service providers to prioritize defects and enhancements, manage escalations, coordinate testing and releases, and prepare partners for change.

• Turn partner needs into actionable solutions – Engage partners across Coffeehouse Development to understand pain points, map processes, define business requirements and acceptance criteria, and ensure solutions address the underlying business need.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
