Job Profile

The bank is hiring a Senior Business Systems Analyst who will be responsible for gathering vast swathes of data from sources throughout our company and turning that data into actionable intelligence for our marketing and investment banking teams.

Use an industry-standard CRM platform, a variety of analytics tools, and the marketing platform, Hubspot, to deliver the information to the management team.

Take primary responsibility for these data systems’ integrity and report to our VP of Data Analytics and Director of Marketing. The job entails daily interaction with our Managing Director-level investment bankers and the Senior Management team members.

Education Level

• BS Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics or a related field

Work Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience (including internships)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Analyzes existing systems or procedures and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
• Design processes to meet regulatory requirements.
• Develops and generates special or Ad Hoc reports.
• Develops operational procedures for products, services, and systems.
• Leads assigned projects or provides advanced technical and consultative support to other team members for assigned business units or assigned application(s) that are typically more complex and have a larger impact on the company.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies, and trends related to the assigned application(s).
• Provides technical support to business units, customers, management, and other users.
• Recommends business practices to optimize the use of application systems.
• Serves as liaison between software vendors and business units, or between users and other corporate areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or investment banking
• Experience interacting with API’s
• Experience with a CRM system such as DealCloud or Salesforce
• Experience with any modern programming language and an understanding of key programming concepts
• Experience with database management and SQL
• Knowledge of Python, Javascript, and NoSQL scripting
• Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools such as Hubspot

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with industry-standard analytics tools such as Tableau
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
