KCS is seeking a Functional/Business Systems Analyst in Richmond, Virginia to work with internal staff and clients to enhance operational processes. The analyst will translate system requirements into specifications and ensure comprehensive documentation of necessary modifications.

The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and requires significant experience in business analysis and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of business process management concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts.
• Experience with large, multi-module systems.
• CBAP, TOGAF certification is beneficial, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Understand operational systems of a client to document required modifications.
• Translate detailed requirements into technical design specifications.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify system gaps.
• Diagram proposed modifications using architecture and data flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors, and consultants on tasks.
• Ensure documentation of requirements and use cases is completed.
• Facilitate requirements and design sessions for assigned projects.
