Qualifications

• Advanced SQL and relational database design.
• MySQL experience strongly preferred.
• Git and API/integration experience.
• Experience with data modeling, complex queries, views, stored procedures, and query optimization.
• Experience with ERP, MES, manufacturing, inventory, or other transactional business systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance ERP functionality.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Systems Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organization and play a key role in supporting an existing MES/manufacturing application while helping design and build a new ERP platform.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys combining software development, database architecture, system integration, and business process improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and enhance ERP functionality
• Maintain and improve an existing MES environment
• Design database schemas, data models, and business logic
• Develop APIs and system integrations
• Perform legacy data and functionality migration
• Integrate ERP, MES, reporting, and shop‑floor systems
• Partner directly with Sales, Accounting, Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams
• Participate throughout the full SDLC — design, development, testing, deployment, and production support

What we’re looking for:

• Advanced SQL & relational database design
• MySQL experience strongly preferred
• Git and API/integration experience
• Experience with data modeling, complex queries, views, stored procedures, and query optimization
• Experience with ERP, MES, manufacturing, inventory, or other transactional business systems

Highly Preferred:

• Manufacturing/industrial experience
• Experience owning or leading an ERP, MES, or internal business application
