Job summary

Capital Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to drive design, development, and deployment of core insurance solutions across policy administration, billing, sales, and customer portals. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and translate them into effective, scalable solutions with cross-functional impact.

The role requires 5–7 years of BA experience in P&C, strong communication, and a team-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of Business Analysis experience in P&C insurance with focus on operations, processes and solutions.
• Guidewire knowledge and experience is ideal.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply acquired knowledge for the role.
• Robust communication skills through written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Aptitude to promote and foster teamwork and a collaborative work environment.
• Strong problem-solving and problem-identification skills to mitigate obstacles and conflicts in advance.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

This is a hybrid-eligible position, where Monday through Wednesday would be working in one of our offices, with Thursday and Friday eligible for work-from-home days. Office locations include: Reno (NV), Monterey (CA), Roseville (CA), Bakersfield (CA), Phoenix (AZ), and Spokane (WA).

Job Overview

The Business Solutions Team represents all business stakeholders in the definition and prioritization of the initiatives, projects, and efforts within CIG.

The Senior Business Solutions Analyst facilitates design, development, and deployment of solutions, tools, and processes required by stakeholders, including policy administration, billing, sales, and customer portal solutions. This role is a core member of the Business Solutions Team and will engage in thought partnership with business stakeholders to identify and recommend solutions to business needs. This role will work with Business Solutions colleagues and business stakeholders to identify, recommend, and define requirements for solutions to business stakeholder needs, particularly with the most complex projects

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience), and continuing education related to the job.
• 5 to 7 years of Business Analysis experience or related work experience in P&C insurance (Personal Lines, Commercial, Agriculture), particularly with respect to operations, business processes and business solutions with demonstrated achievements and/or progressive responsibilities.
• Guidewire knowledge and experience is ideal.
• An ability to quickly learn and apply acquired knowledge essential to the position.
• Robust communication skills through written and verbal communication, with technical and non-technical audiences
• Aptitude to promote and foster teamwork and a collaborative work-environment.

Salary Range:

$80,415.00 - $133,624.00

The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer based on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as benefits and bonus programs.
