Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Process Consultant to lead business case development for proposed initiatives, support strategic planning, and drive cross-functional programs. The role is 100% remote with preference to CST/ EST time zones and up to 10% travel for onsite meetings.

The position requires 6+ years managing projects, a related degree, and PMP/quality certifications preferred. You will guide end-to-end process improvements, ensure alignment with the corporate plan,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
• Master's Degree in a related field preferred.
• 6+ years managing projects required.
• Experience in health care and/or insurance preferred.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.
• Process quality certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads business case development for proposed initiatives to ensure adequate assessment of opportunities, risks and ROI.
• Provides input and supports planning and prioritization of initiatives as part of the strategic and business planning process.
• Ensures initiatives support the strategic business plan and are executed well tactically.
• Ensures all approved business cases are transitioned to initiatives with clear responsibilities.
• Leads cross-functional initiatives to drive performance improvement, financial gains, customer satisfaction and compliance.
• Provides strategic and policy guidance on assigned initiatives for effective implementation and results.
• Organizes work teams, drives consensus, and ensures end-to-end policy/process integrity for project work.
• Performs detailed analysis of data, workflows, policies, and staff organization to execute initiatives.
• Supports the project work using Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
