The Business Planning and Performance Execution team serves as a strategic partner to leaders across Ameren Utilities, helping translate strategy into execution. The team provides performance insights through scorecards, leads function- and segment-level strategic business planning efforts, coordinates complex cross-functional initiatives, and drives leader and coworker engagements that strengthen collaboration and alignment. Working across functions and segments and partnering with Corporate Strategy, the team enables informed decision-making, enterprise alignment, and successful execution of Ameren’s strategic priorities.
As part of this team, the Senior Business Planning and Performance Execution Analyst advances strategic business planning, performance management, and executive reporting through integrated analysis, insight development, workstream leadership, and cross-functional coordination. This role strengthens the integration of business planning and performance management and helps leadership understand performance trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. The role integrates business planning, performance, and strategic initiative inputs across Ameren Utilities functions and segments to support leadership decisions and coordinated execution.
As a Senior-level professional, this role serves as a business planning and strategic initiatives practitioner and a strategic advisor to the leaders it is supporting. The role independently leads assigned processes, workstreams, and initiatives; analyzes complex business issues; develops recommendations; and partners with stakeholders to improve performance and execution. Work is performed independently with review at critical points and requires sound judgment, adaptability, and effective communication with leaders and business partners.
Bachelor's degree required. Five or more years of relevant professional experience. Or advanced degree with 3 or more years of relevant professional experience.
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills. Demonstrated experience independently leading complex cross-functional workstreams, synthesizing information for senior leaders, and developing recommendations that influence business decisions.
Experience with strategy and/or business plans preferred.

Compensation Range: $105,100.00 - $162,900.00. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
