Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a seasoned financial analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Spectrum. You will build models, analyze expenses, and drive cost-saving initiatives across the organization.

The role requires 5+ years of finance experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment. Office-based position with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business planning/financial analysis or related experience.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review comprehensive reports and analyses to support financial objectives.
• Perform data trend analysis on operating budget spend to help teams meet KPIs.
• Build and deploy financial models to forecast results and support strategic planning.
• Utilize insights to identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities across Spectrum.
• Create and update operating expense reforecasts to ensure financial accuracy.
• Coordinate variance analysis and reporting for operating expenses.
• Conduct monthly reviews of financial statements to pinpoint trends and performance drivers.
• Analyze, educate and recommend updates to accounting operations policies and procedures.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in forecasting, budgeting and management reporting, including automation where possible.
• Partner with functional leaders to identify and pursue cost-saving initiatives across the business.
