Job description

We are looking for a tenured, highly technical Product Analytics Sr. Manager to serve as a key architect for our experimentation and product strategy. This is a hands‑on, individual contributor role for a seasoned practitioner who thrives in the weeds of data but operates with the strategic view to drive Product growth. You’ll team with world‑class professionals to develop and test strategies that ultimately impact the bottom line. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.

You will help shape product development, quantify new opportunities, and identify upcoming challenges. You will help define the methodologies for how we measure success, serving as the subject matter expert in experimentation, causal inference, and metrics selection. Your work will help partner teams prioritize what to build, set goals, and understand their impact.

Your work will directly influence product direction, investment decisions, and the product vision for the Retail Bank. You will help drive product‑led growth by employing a varied toolkit of rigorous analytical approaches, different statistical methodologies, and frameworks to surface insights on new and exciting opportunities and challenges. This is a highly collaborative role in which you will problem‑solve alongside partners and leadership in Product, Engineering, Research, Data, Finance, and others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Influence: Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to identify high‑leverage growth opportunities. Translate complex behavioral data and user funnels into actionable product recommendations and feature requirements.
  • Experimentation & Causal Inference: Serve as internal authority on experimentation and causal inference. Define and enforce the standards for randomization, power analysis, and conversion window modeling. Design, analyze, and interpret complex A/B/n tests using advanced statistical techniques (randomization, power calculations, variance reduction, quasi‑experiments) to isolate true customer incrementality.
  • Hands‑On Technical Execution: Query, clean, and transform massive, complex datasets using SQL, Python, or R. Develop statistical models, user segmentation frameworks, and exploratory analysis to uncover engagement patterns.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership & Alignment: Drive alignment across cross‑functional partners (Product, Tech, Research, Finance). Facilitate peer review gates to maintain rigorous analytical integrity and establish standardized KPI frameworks.
  • Data Storytelling & Executive Communication: Synthesize multi‑faceted data insights into clear, strategic narratives. Able to influence audiences beyond vanity metrics to focus on underlying customer value and long‑term business impact.
What Success Looks Like
  • Proven Track Record: A seasoned analytical expert with significant experience in high‑velocity product environments (e.g., e‑commerce, fin‑tech, or SaaS). You have navigated complex, ambiguous zero‑to‑one challenges and delivered clear outcomes.
  • Technical Mastery: Fluency in SQL and Python is a baseline requirement. Deep expertise in statistical modeling, DoE (Design of Experiments), and causal inference methodologies is critical.
  • Influencer Mindset: You possess strong executive communication skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect and interpersonal negotiation rather than hierarchy. You can explain the "why" behind a complex statistical result to non‑technical partners.
  • Product Sense: You understand how digital products are built, instrumented, and scaled. You know when to utilize centralized, self‑serve experimentation tools versus when a high‑bar, gate‑kept methodology is required.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
  • At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
  • At least 1 year of experience performing people management
  • At least 1 year of experience performing project management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in people management
  • 2+ years of experience in product development
  • 2+ years of experience in financial modeling
  • 2+ years of experience in economic forecasting
  • 2+ years of experience in project management
