Our Business Intelligence team develops large scale reporting tools, analytics, and supporting analytic/reporting data infrastructure for stakeholders in energy, renewable resources, sustainability, and water sectors. They build high visibility tools used by project managers, data/sustainability scientists, analysts, and the AWS leadership team to make data-driven business decisions that directly impact AWS’s net-zero carbon and 100% renewable goals.
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
- 5 + years experience with data visualization using Tableau or QuickSight
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
