The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to design and deliver complex data models, dashboards, and visual reports that drive decision-making across the agency. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about turning raw data into clear, impactful stories using Power BI and advanced scripting.

• Develop and deploy advanced Power BI dashboards and reports
• Design complex dimensional data models from the ground up
• Perform in-depth analysis using Power BI scripts (DAX, M, Python)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven solutions
• Visualize compelling, user-friendly insights for agency-wide use

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics
• 4+ years building reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Experience with Power BI scripting using Python, DAX, and M
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data storytelling
• Experience with SAS datasets (.sas7bdat)
• Familiarity with source control tools like Git/BitBucket
• Exposure to Jira, SAP, Tableau, or state agency projects
