Senior Business Intelligence Consultant (Apptio)

FTS, in partnership with a multi-billion-dollar conglomerate in the Investment space, is seeking an Apptio Consultant to join their rapidly growing Business Operations Team! In this role, you will have a high level of executive exposure in both the Finance and Technology Departments.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining financial management solutions, enabling self-service reporting and dashboard capabilities for business leaders.

As a TBM Consultant, you will play a critical role in enhancing the organization’s financial transparency by integrating Apptio with other enterprise systems and driving efficiency through automation. You’ll empower stakeholders with real-time, actionable financial insights to support smarter IT and business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Financial Systems Development: Design and maintain Apptio solutions including cost models, financial reports, dashboards, and workflows.
2. System Integration: Integrate Apptio with systems such as ERP, CRM, and other financial platforms for seamless data exchange and financial accuracy.
3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Build and manage comprehensive financial dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.
4. Configuration & Customization: Tailor financial modules to meet specific business requirements.
5. Automation & Process Improvement: Streamline budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes through automation.
6. Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct testing to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability of Apptio applications and data flows.
7. Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve issues related to Apptio applications, integrations, and data inconsistencies.
8. Collaboration & Communication: Partner with Finance, IT, and Business Operations teams to understand needs and deliver effective solutions.
9. Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation of configurations, workflows, and integration processes.

Required Qualifications:

1. Experience building dashboards from scratch with multiple BI tools.
2. Full lifecycle experience with Apptio.
3. Experience creating live and real-time streaming dashboards from ideation to deployment.
4. Proven experience in configuring, developing, and integrating financial systems solutions.
5. Deep understanding of financial management processes: budgeting, forecasting, cost modeling.
6. Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and financial systems.
7. Proficiency with SQL and data analytics.
8. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating cloud cost data into Apptio.
