Job summary

Responsibilities

• Governance owner for Tableau/ThoughtSpot; manage sites, permissions, content certification, and publishing standards.
• Define and enforce standards for certified data sources and semantic models.
• Partner with data engineering and platform teams to align controls with pipelines and data warehouses/lakes.
• Establish and monitor data quality rules and KPI reporting.
• Manage RBAC, data classification (PII/PHI) across BI tools and sources.
• Lead metadata management and data lineage initiatives.

• Senior BI Architect with Tableau and / or ThoughtSpot experience
• Serve as the governance owner for Tableau and ThoughtSpot: manage site/workspace administration, permissions, content certification, and publishing standards across both platforms.
• Define & enforce standards for certified data sources, semantic models, and governed data extracts (Tableau data sources, ThoughtSpot worksheets/Live boards) to ensure a single source of truth for reporting.
• Partner with data engineering and platform teams to align governance controls with upstream data pipelines, data warehouses/ lake houses, and cataloging tools.
• Establish and monitor data quality rules, validation checks, and issue-resolution workflows; track and report on data quality KPIs.
• Manage role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security, and data classification (PII/PHI/confidential) across Tableau, ThoughtSpot, and connected data sources.
• Lead metadata management and data lineage initiatives, ensuring dashboards and reports are traceable back to their source systems.
