Senior Business Development Representative – AI/ML SaaS – $100k OTE + Equity – San Francisco (Remote-First)

Meritt & Venatrix are excited to present an opportunity for a Senior Business Development Representative to join a cutting-edge AI/ML SaaS company, building the bridge between experimental models and real-world business impact.

This is your chance to be part of a fast-growing team in San Francisco, helping companies safely and effectively operationalise machine learning systems at scale.

As a founding member of the GTM team, you’ll have high visibility, real ownership, and a direct hand in shaping how this company goes to market. You’ll run strategic outbound campaigns, speak with technical stakeholders, and help define positioning in a complex, rapidly evolving space.

If you’re excited about the AI/ML revolution and want to accelerate your sales career in a highly collaborative, low-ego environment, this is your role.

Location: Remote-first with bi-weekly team meetups (must be based in the San Francisco area)

OTE: $100,000 (uncapped)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Researching and identifying high-potential enterprise prospects
  • Crafting and executing outbound strategies across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Running early discovery calls and booking high-quality meetings
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Product to refine messaging and positioning
  • Playing a key role in GTM feedback loops and strategy
  • Progressing toward an Account Executive role within 12–18 months
What You’ll Bring:
  • 1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience in technical B2B SaaS
  • Confidence on the phone and clarity in communication
  • Strong organisational habits and a goal-driven mindset
  • Natural curiosity and the ability to learn complex concepts quickly
  • Interest or experience in AI/ML a big plus
