Job Details:

  • Reports to: Global Business Unit Head / CEO
  • Region: Americas
  • Domain Expertise: Transmission & Distribution Automation
  • Industry Segment: Power & Energy / Energy Utilities
  • Travel Requirement: Up to 25% (based on business needs)

Objective:

As a Sr. BD Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets within the United States. Your focus will be on our Substation Integration & Management Solutions in Protection, Automation, and Control portfolio. You will work closely with partners, sales channels, and customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions in substation solutions integration, power systems, automation gateway systems, power plant controllers, microgrids, cybersecurity, and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet revenue and growth targets in the USA.
  • Build and maintain account relationships to understand customer needs and promote our full product offerings.
  • Sell a portfolio of products and solutions, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability.
  • Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and sales opportunities in the USA.
  • Manage a sales pipeline, forecast sales, and track performance against targets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs, consultants, and utilities.
  • Lead engagement plans, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Conduct customer presentations and technical discussions with support from the pre-sales team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet customer requirements and maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; an MBA is a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in industrial automation or electric utilities.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of grid automation, power management, or related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
