We are seeking a well-connected, enthusiastic Senior Business Development Executive to expand Teamworks' product suite within the North American pro basketball market, focusing on Teamworks Intelligence. In this strategic role, you'll help NBA organizations utilize our comprehensive solutions across Intelligence, Performance, Operations, and Personnel to enhance their organizations and gain a competitive edge. You'll collaborate with NBA leaders to deliver integrated technology solutions that support roster building, player development, team operations, and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your industry network to lead outreach and identify cross-sell opportunities within the NA Pro basketball market.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client challenges and aligning them with Teamworks' solutions, emphasizing Intelligence capabilities for data-driven strategies.
  • Gather customer feedback to influence product development and marketing strategies based on insights from NBA organizations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data using CRM tools to support revenue forecasting and sales discipline.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitive activities to refine go-to-market strategies, especially for Intelligence solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Data Analytics, or related; advanced certifications are a plus.
  • Extensive experience with NBA organizations or similar roles in basketball systems, analytics, or player personnel.
  • Deep NBA network and passion for leveraging technology for competitive advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with scouting, intelligence platforms, or analytics tools.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders such as GMs and Basketball Operations leaders.
  • Experience in consultative sales or SaaS, with multiple product offerings preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into strategic value.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
