We are seeking an immediate Senior Business Developer who will build trust and rapport with clients, leading to upsell opportunities and retention. The role involves a question-based selling approach, listening to challenges, and offering tailored recommendations.

Our Asset Sustainability Group is a market leader in delivering software and advisory services in the facilities and sustainability marketplace. Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble and update facilities management, asset management, capital planning, energy planning, and related news and industry trends for incorporation into business offerings;
  2. Identify, support, and participate in local and regional client meetings (virtual and in person);
  3. Perform market assessments to identify competitive landscape, activity level, and business potential. Secure, analyze, and summarize competitive data to better position our offerings;
  4. Become a subject matter expert on our software platform to provide value and insight to current clients, leading to retention and upsell opportunities;
  5. Partner with Business Development to produce marketing and presentation materials for customer meetings, seminars, and conferences;
  6. Assist with development of internal client database and catalog of past, current, and future project opportunities;
  7. Assist with sales and development reporting, including use of the company CRM system;
  8. Support internal development, editing, coordination activities for proposal, presentation, and collateral materials;
  9. Cultivate new proposal lead development avenues;
  10. Conduct calls to qualify clients for the Sales team;
  11. Manage all inside Marketing Qualified Leads, follow up with clients, and coordinate with the appropriate Account Executive;
  12. Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ Years relevant work experience
Additional Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized
