Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is seeking a Senior Business Continuity Manager to execute and continually improve the BCM program. This role partners across the Bank to ensure resilient plans, crisis guidance, disaster recovery, training, testing, and communications are current and cohesive.

You will support preparation and response to disruptive events while maintaining safe operations, minimizing member impact, and aligning BCM to risk appetite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, emergency management, information technology, operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business continuity, resiliency, risk, crisis management, disaster recovery or related fields.
• CBCP minimum or MBCP preferred (or related) certification.
• Banking/financial services experience or highly regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the BCM program across the Bank.
• Develop, test, and improve business continuity and crisis management capabilities.
• Provide leadership during incidents and emerging threats.
• Maintain BCM documentation, tracks, and certifications.
• Coordinate with IT and other departments to align resilience activities.
