Job summary

FHLBank Chicago is seeking a Sr. Business Continuity Manager to lead the bank's BCM program, ensuring resiliency across critical operations.

You will coordinate across IT, risk, legal, and operations to prepare for and recover from disruptive events, guiding incident response and recovery efforts while maintaining regulatory alignment. You'll work in an in-office model with a collaborative culture, mentor teams, and drive ongoing training, testing, and plan enhancements to strengthen the bank's

Qualifications

• Experience leading BCM programs and coordinating across departments.
• Ability to develop and implement resiliency plans and tests.
• Strong documentation and training skills.
• Experience with risk assessment and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day execution and coordination of the BCM Program.
• Coordinate activities during disruptions and support Crisis Management Team activation.
• Maintain BCM documentation and ensure plans are current.
• Coordinate with IT disaster recovery and technology leaders.
• Partner with departments to keep plans aligned to critical processes.
• Oversee plan maintenance, quarterly certifications, annual reviews.
• Coordinate and support risk assessments and BIAs.
• Design BCM training and testing programs and tabletop exercises.
• Provide reporting to management and committees on program status.
• Monitor threats and events that may impact operations.
• Utilize BRM tools and platforms to administer activities and records.
• Maintain employee-facing BCM resources and guidance.
