Your role in our mission
Testing Analysis
- Identify scope of testing for integration enhancements to ensure quality and mitigate risks related to member access, provider payments, and federal reporting.
- Determine if UAT, Regression, or End-to-End testing is needed and the scope.
- Coordinate with Health Plans and other departments on testing needs and scope.
- Develop high-level testing scenarios and work with project teams to finalize and approve them.
Develops a Test Plan
- Create test plans that meet deadlines and communicate risks.
- Identify dependencies, risks, and scope change opportunities.
Writes test cases
- Document detailed test steps and data needs.
- Collaborate with vendors and training teams to ensure quality testing.
Executes test cases
- Document outcomes with steps and screenshots.
- Identify issues, communicate for research, and create remediation test cases if needed.
Production Research and Support
- Research, analyze, and document reported issues.
- Review compliance and operational impacts, escalate issues, and prepare validation plans.
- Track resolution and communicate milestones.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of Business Analyst/Tester experience in healthcare, with 3+ years in Medicaid/Medicare.
- Minimum Associate Degree.
- Hands-on testing experience; testing lead preferred.
- Strong analytical and testing skills, including UAT, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, ALM tools, and Jira.
- Understanding of computer programming concepts.
- Excellent client communication skills.
Role Expectations
- Remote options available within the Continental US.
- Office hours: 8am-5pm Mountain Time.
- Video interviews and orientation require cameras.
