Job summary

Knowledge Builders Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to bridge business and IT for major refactoring and portal enhancements. You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements, create BRDs, use cases, and process diagrams, and ensure traceability through the SDLC.

You will lead workshops, coordinate with SMEs, and translate user needs into actionable specs. Required is 84+ months in business analysis, with healthcare/billing experience and Scrum Master certification.

Qualifications

• 84 months experience eliciting and analyzing stakeholder needs and transforming those into verified functional and non-functional requirements.
• 84 months creating and maintaining software development artifacts: BRDs, use cases, report mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams.
• 84 months facilitating requirement workshops (JAD) and structured walkthroughs.
• 72 months managing requirements lifecycle with a requirements management plan and traceability.
• 72 months creating test plans and participating in User Acceptance Testing.
• 36 months experience with SQL queries and data analysis.
• 36 months experience with health care and billing applications.
• Scrum Master Accredited Certification.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project manager, technical team members and stakeholders to guide the SDLC.
• Identify and scope the stated business problem and propose best approach to solve it.
• Act as liaison to stakeholders, users, and SMEs to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and verify requirements.
• Convey user demands to developers with clearly articulated artifacts.
• Create as-is and to-be business process flows aligned with agency needs.
• Conduct requirements workshops and JAD sessions with subject matter experts.
• Create BRDs, context diagrams, system states, use cases, workflow diagrams and prototypes.
• Ensure SSDLC artifacts are created and support project scope.
• Manage requirements through the contract life with traceability to tests.
