Job summary

IntelliBee is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to lead requirements elicitation, documentation, and SDLC-compliant planning for new and enhanced applications. You will work with business and IT staff to define clear requirements, support development, and validate systems through testing and UAT scripts.

The role emphasizes writing precise specifications, collaborating in agile environments, and ensuring delivery within established timelines while aligning with agency or corporate

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business and systems analysis, requirements documentation, system development life cycle, and agile application development such as Scrum.
• Extensive experience defining and documenting user requirements from multiple sources, with clear, complex documents for business users and developers.
• Extensive experience supporting application development, maintenance, and implementation, systems analysis and design, and business process improvement.
• Extensive experience defining and documenting business processes and mapping or developing processes in a new system.
• Experience manually performing testing on a web application.
• Considerable experience in testing complex systems to ensure business needs are met.
• Ability to write and execute test plans and scripts according to identified standards.
• Experience conducting meetings and documenting project decisions.
• Ability to identify and document bugs or insufficiencies in a web application.
• Ability to participate in a development team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Initiates projects to identify problems and objectives for Requirements Definition.
• Elicits and documents requirements for new or enhanced applications.
• Collaborates with business and IS staff to define SDLC-compliant requirements.
• Documents Requirements Definition to clearly define needs within deadlines.
• Ensures requirements are clear, complete, and meet guidelines.
• Develops templates and processes to standardize documentation.
• Attends design and development scrums to represent business needs.
• Writes and executes system test plans to verify requirements.
• Performs manual testing on web apps and validates test plans.
• Creates testing plans to confirm alignment with requirements and design.
• Documents bugs with enough detail to reproduce issues.
• Assists in developing user testing scripts for UAT.
