Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help establish a scalable Partner Engineering Operating Model. You will work with internal teams and partners to map processes, identify gaps, and define repeatable workflows for integration, testing, deployment, and support of Epicor-aligned solutions.

You will translate complex needs into actionable requirements, build a roadmap for future-state goals, and drive cross-functional discussions to advance a secure, scalable partner ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business analysis or related role, with independent work in complex environments.
• Experience coordinating ISVs, partners, or third-party solutions across organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for discovery with internal/external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, cloud concepts, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Assess onboarding, integration, testing, and support processes across Epicor ERP products to baseline current work.
• Partner with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements and identify gaps/dependencies.
• Define and operationalize a standardized Partner Engineering Operating Model (architecture, security, data governance, identity, release, support).
• Translate business/technical needs into clear requirements, priorities, and workstreams.
• Set future-state goals and roadmap to move to a more scalable partner model.
• Lead cross-functional discussions and progress without direct authority.
• Support validation and refinement as needs and priorities evolve.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will help establish a scalable Partner Engineering Operating Model that enables external partners to integrate, test, deploy, and support Epicor-aligned solutions more consistently. You will work across internal teams and directly with partners to assess current processes, identify gaps and dependencies, and define a more repeatable, secure, and effective way of working. We are seeking applicants with strong communication skills, experience coordinating complex integrations, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems. ## What you will be doing:* Assess current partner onboarding, integration, testing, and support processes across Epicor ERP products to establish a clear baseline of how work is completed today.* Partner with internal stakeholders, ISVs, service partners, channel partners, and other third parties to gather requirements, identify dependencies, and uncover process gaps.* Define and help operationalize a standardized Partner Engineering Operating Model across areas such as architecture, security, data governance, identity, release, and support workflows.* Translate complex business and technical needs into clear requirements, priorities, recommendations, and actionable workstreams.* Establish future-state goals and help define the roadmap needed to move from current processes toward a more consistent and scalable partner model.* Lead cross-functional discussions and drive progress across teams without relying on direct authority or a dedicated engineering team.* Support ongoing validation, prioritization, and refinement as partner needs, technical requirements, and business priorities evolve. ## What you will likely bring:* 5+ years’ experience in business analysis or a related role, with demonstrated success working independently in complex environments.* Experience integrating multiple companies, partners, products, or third-party solutions, with a strong understanding of cross-company dependencies.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discovery conversations and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.* Working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, cloud concepts, and technical integration concepts such as API gateways, test environments, and test data sets.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.* Ability to learn new technologies, products, and processes quickly while navigating ambiguity and changing requirements.* Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience). ## What could set you apart:* Experience working with ISVs, technology partners, service partners, channel partners, or other third-party ecosystems.* Experience with ERP platforms or enterprise software environments.* Experience establishing or improving operating models, governance frameworks, integration processes, or partner onboarding workflows.* Proven experience using agentic tools to improve collaboration, solution quality, and delivery speed.Join us at Epicor, where your success is our success.
